I don't know how rapidly you all get through hockey shoes but I can wear them out pretty quickly and they're not cheap. Eventually I bought some cheapies with astro soles for running about the garden and they've lasted well. The trouble was I got them in town and the shop's closed now. I've had a look at the ebay shops and here's some links that will take you to inexpensive hockey shoes with astro soles. There are also more expensive shoes on sale in the ebay shops and I'd really recommend these for running about on grass in wet weather. Safety is paramount in agility and as they say down here in the west, you don't want to end up kissing Mother Cornwall.

I do feel much safer wearing good hockey shoes in wet weather. Current auctions on ebay are shown below and there are also a number of reputable shops selling hockey shoes on ebay at very reasonable prices. |
