Vulnerable Breeds Registration
I've been sent a list of breeds that are in decline and have
been put on the vulnerable breeds list due to the low number of
Kennel Club registrations. have a look at this.
You'll be surprised. Thank you to everyone who has
sent in their comments.
I hope this little directory will be of interest to anyone who is choosing an agility dog
or who runs an agility dog and wants to know if it's typical of its
breed. It will also be helpful to people who want a pet dog
to have fun with and to be a companion. If you are choosing any pure bred dog you really need
to like the breed for its own sake as well as for the prowess in
agility. Crossbreeds take their characteristics from both
parents so if you are choosing a crossbreed or a mongrel make
sure that you are going home with a dog that you can live with
for the rest of its life. Comments from people who already have the dog
breed you are interested in can be a much more useful guide than
just reading about standard characteristics.
