Changes to the Website

In the next few weeks there will be some changes to Agility Bits.  The site is taking more and more time to maintain and it's leaving me without enough time for the dogs.  This isn't fair on Jamie and Sasha.  They have to sit and watch me at the computer instead of having fun and going for long walks and training.  Sasha is only two years old and she needs more attention than that.  I've decided the site will have to slim down a bit.

Updates on how we're doing:
The dogs are both enjoying the extra exercise and training and they're both better for it.  Peace reigns at last.... well, for a little while anyway.  Dogs usually turn difficult if they don't have enough to do and Sasha was starting to get yippy.  Now she has a little play in the evening then she settles down to sleep.  She occasionally jumps on Jamie after his nine o'clock watershed but he soon tells her where to go. The only problem we have is that Bernie is knackered and keeps dropping off to sleep.

The Forum

I love moderating the forum and our members are so friendly and helpful.  I've now mastered the art of keeping spammers at bay so I've decided to keep it and hopefully it won't take much time to keep it up.

The Kennel Club Pages

I've just received the latest rules and regulations and the booklet is 40 pages long.  I haven't been able to keep the rules or the press release pages up to date.  There seems to be so much more of this than when I started the site.  The rule book is only £1.50 from the Kennel Club and they're ever so quick in sending it so this section will go.

The  Rest of Agility Bits

I'll be looking at the rest of the site in the next few weeks to see if anything else can be slimmed down and to work out the high maintenance parts.
